Mission
Propose models that are made in the Lyon workshop in an "artisanal" way by Yukako herself.
Natural materials are preferred. Prints are imported directly from Japan.
Values
Her story
Yukako is a Japanese stylist.
While studying fashion design in Tokyo, she was selected to finish her studies in Paris.
Seduced by France, she decided to settle there and opened a boutique in Lyon in 2003.
On the strength of this experience, wishing to expand her clientele, she created an e-commerce site in 2014.
In 2015, the Atelier Yukako store was transferred to the craftsmen's quarter, in the 1st arr. around Place Sathonay.
The models are made in the Lyon workshop in an "artisanal" way by Yukako herself.

The workshop
Creation
The mixture of Asian and Western cultures is fully expressed
in YUKAKO's creations.
Japanese aesthetics can be found in the sobriety and refined shapes of its collections, also underlined by numerous details and accessories.
Manufacturing
Our models are handcrafted in our workshops in Lyon. Stocks are therefore limited.
Materials
We try to favor the use of natural materials as much as possible: cotton, linen, wool, etc. Japanese prints are imported directly from Japan in limited series; the collection will end after the fabric stocks have run out.
